Welcome to Wheelhouse

Like all good ideas, Wheelhouse Cowork began with a simple question: what if we worked where we lived? I’m Nate, a Gloucester native, and after thirteen years at a healthcare research firm, loving the work but not the Boston commute, I realized there had to be a better way. Working from home was distracting, coffee shops were chaotic, and everywhere I went I met talented people facing the same challenge. Inspired by my wife Katie, an art therapist who built her practice here on Cape Ann, we imagined a professional, flexible workspace rooted in community. With her encouragement and many late-night conversations, that idea became Wheelhouse Cowork: a place for remote workers, small businesses, creatives, and neighbors to focus, connect, and do meaningful work locally. These days, Katie and I are raising our two kids, Ava and Arlo, and you’ll usually find me near the coffee. Come say hi, I’d love to show you around.
